The Aria Award winning A Capella group, “The Idea of North” is coming to Hillbrook! As part of their visit they will be running a vocal workshop with Hillbrook musicians during the day and performing the same evening in the Hillbrook PAC.
All choir members, vocal students and elective classroom music students will be involved in the workshop and concert.

Come and learn the art of live performance with The Idea of North.
Hear some of the group’s stories of life on the road and what they've learnt along the way to become a world-class act. They will share techniques in harmony singing, stagecraft and teach you music in four-part harmony.
This workshop will give you hands-on a cappella experience by working closely with members of TION.

Seating is not numbered. General admission. There is a capping on the number of tickets sold for comfort of patrons and to ensure good visibility for every ticket sold.

Concert is suitable for all ages, so feel free to bring the whole family. There are discounts for groups.

We are hugely excited to announce our first collaboration with the fabulous West Australian Symphony Orchestra: A World of Christmas, in which we will take you on a journey across the globe, exploring the musical smorgasbord of Christmas celebrations from numerous cultures. There will be time for delving into some of the most loved carols of our own culture as well as exposure to some lesser known, but beautiful music from other countries.
What could be better than amazing a cappella harmonies at Christmas? Amazing harmonies with full orchestral backing! We are super excited to share this experience with you, and just know that you'll walk away feeling enriched by the incredible sound of this collaboration and ready to tackle the crazy holiday season with a new appreciation for the way different people celebrate this most widely observed tradition.
