We are delighted to have been invited to appear at the Illawarra Music Festival in May. We will be holding a workshop in the afternoon at 2pm and a concert at 5pm. For those of you in and around the Illawarra region stay tuned for more details soon.

ARIA award-winning vocal ensemble The Idea of North are guest artists in the St James’ 2013 concert series. This leading Australian a cappella quartet will present a selection of vocal arrangements, including artfully transformed classics and jazz-inspired contemporary works, displaying the singers’ vocal dexterity and inimitable blend.

Melbourne International Singers Festival proudly presents some of Australia's most outstanding International Artists in our exciting new Master Singers Series with three stunning concerts. In Master Singer Concert #3, a capella quartet The Idea of North will thrill with their extraordinary vocal virtuosity, divine harmonies and humour, along with the winners of the Melbourne International Singers Festival Cabaret Competition.
Come and learn the art of live performance with ARIA award winning group, The Idea of North.
Hear some of the group’s stories of life on the road and what they've learnt along the way to become a world-class act. They will share techniques in harmony singing, stagecraft and teach you a brand new song.
If you have tickets to their evening performance at the Brisbane Powerhouse you will be invited to perform the song with The Idea of North, live on stage that night! This will be a special feature during their ‘Limelight’ concert. So why not come and share the limelight with Australia's most loved a cappella quartet, The Idea of North.
Special packages are available for those who wish to attend both the afternoon workshop and the evening 'Limelight' concert, and group discounts are available, so gather your friends and come to one or both!
This workshop will give you hands on experience by working closely with this dynamic group. Places are limited so get in quick to avoid disappoint.
We return to the Brisbane Powerhouse for the first time this year to perform "Limelight".
Sample a selection of our brand new a cappella arrangements including new selections from some of our favourite artists and a smattering of songs from our much-loved repertoire.

To celebrate 20 magnificent years together, Australia’s leading a cappella group, The Idea of North are touring the country and sharing the enjoyment with thousands of music lovers from coast to coast. Norwood Concert Hall will host the event in Adelaide on Sunday 11th August. You’ll hear some re-worked versions of popular TION tunes from the past 20 years and great new repertoire too. It'll be a night of reminiscing, the usual TION-style hilarity and beautiful music with a brand new album to honour the event!
